People
of the country prefer white color when buying a car. Last year 43% of car
buyers chose white color. After gray silver colors were chosen by 15% of the
customers. This information comes out in the report of BASF, paints and coating
company.
Black
cars have the lowest 3% choice for people
According
to the report, red color was selected by 9% customers. 7% of the customers
liked the blue color The number of customers buying a black car is only 3%.
According
to the report, the sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment also has the white
color of 41% people selected. In this segment, 15% of buyers chose gray and 14%
preferred silver color. 12% buyers red and 7% bought blue carts.
42%
of the entry-level sub-compact segments bought white-colored cars. 17% gray and
16% preferred silver color. The number of people who choose red in this segment
is 12%.
BASF's
Design Head (Asia-Pacific) Chihiro Matsuhara said that Pearl and (White like
pearl) small cars are very popular in the country. The reason for this can be
that the climate of India is hot and the white color does not warm quickly.
Another reason is that white color is considered luxury.
